Hussam Mohammed Amin, who had explained to UN weapon inspectors (truthfully) that Iraq had no weapons of mass distruction, surrendered to the Bush forces to prove he was telling the truth. He was kept sealed in a bag for days while the Bush forces repeatedly beat him, under the orders of General McChrystal, who Obama placed in charge of Afghanistan.
Most telling is how the Bush regime defended, in US court, similar torture by Saddam Hussein against US personnel in the first Gulf War.
